Shaman King Returns!

Finally, Shaman King‘s manga series will have its “perfect” ending. Pressured from the fans of the series to have a proper ending to the sereis (as against the premature and confusing ending in Chapter 285: After The Dream), the official website of the Kanzenban Edition of Hiroyuki Takei‘s best seling manga series posted the manga’s new finale for free: Chapter 287: Good Morning, Mu Continent last February 27, 2009.

Chapter 287: Good Morning, Mu Continent follows Yoh Asakura and his fellow shamans’ travel inside the Mu Continent in search of Hao Asakura to stop his evil ambitions of annhialating humanity and creating a selfish world inhabited only by shamans. This is a good sort-of recovery chapter continuing and giving justice to the series which ended prematurely on January 2005. I expect the chapters succeeding Good Morning, Mu Continent to at least be thrilling and full of surprises, as the current chapter is, since the Kanzenban Edition is Shaman King’s salavation three years in the making.

Over all, I am just glad that Shaman King is back. It’s been an all-time favorite Japanese series of mine!

It’s still not revealed what happens to Hao Asakura as the focus of the Kanzenban series is Yoh’s journey towards the Great Spirit before it fuses with Hao.
